The curious incident of the dog in the night is a very interesting book. However, I do not think that the ending is a good one. The ending of the book was very ordinary and not exactly what I was expecting. The book did not mention anything about what happen in the end like what most story book would. Instead, the author just wrote about what he hopes to happen in the future. I was also hoping for a happy ending, with Christopher's parents getting back together and Christopher finally trusting his father again. However, that did not happen. In the end, though Christopher stayed at his father's house at times, he was still afraid of him after the incident of killing a dog, as he had lost his trust in him. His parents also never got back together and the book just ended plainly with Christopher's hopes and dreams.
